hey so we are back travelling now. we had about 2 weeks at kirstens grammas place on bribie island, about an hour from brisbane. it was prety sweet, we went into the city one day just to see what it was about. nothing special really. its been really bad weather lately but yesterday was pretty hot and crazy windy. we went down to the surf beach at about 9 am. i only lasted about an hour before i got slammed hard and called it quites. i got tossed hard on my shulder and head. my heads fine but my shoulder is pretty stiff. no biggie.

anyway, christmas was good. we spent xmas day at tonys sisters house, the whole family was there so it was pretty cool. lots of good food and deserts. we went to the australia zoo on boxing day. finaly saw a kangaroo and kaula bear. the bears were pretty lame, they just slept. but the kangaroos were cool. bouncig all over you waiting for food, i didnt have any but they seemed happy anyway.

we are in Noosa Heads now for the new year. the plan is to stay here until the 3 i think, then head to fraser island for our camping trip. after that, who knows. there is a major storm rolling though here right now. no tornado but the winds are equal to a catagory 2 tornado, so thats cool. you cant swim anywhere along the gold coast, the waves are insane though. just watching them is crazy, so big. they are calling for 10 meter waves tomorrow. today is only 6 or soemthing. fraser island got evacuated yesterday. but the storm should pass by monday, they say anyway.
